The Sturge-Weber Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life and care for people with Sturge-Weber syndrome and associated port-wine stain birthmark conditions through collaborative education, advocacy, research and friendly support. The Sturge-Weber Foundation Falmouth Road Race Team started with 5 runners in 2010 and has raised more than $434,000 over the past 7 years. Affordable Equity Partners became passionate about its involvement in the foundation through a business associate and friend, whose son Ryan was born with Sturge-Weber syndrome. From pancake breakfasts to barbecues, ice cream socials and even wine and chocolate tastings, we are committed to sharing Ryan’s story.
In 2015 JES Holdings team members Will Markel, Charlene Johnson, Dan Torgerson, Ryan Stevens, Kelly Stevens, Stephen Westbrook and Tony Timmerman participated in the Sturge-Weber Foundation Falmouth Road Race. In 2016 we continued the challenge with Charlene Johnson, Dan Torgerson, Ryan Stevens and Dana Patrick. This year, the AEP 2017 runners were Charlene Johnson, Dan Torgerson and Kaitlin Roweton.
