Jeffrey E. Smith Recognized at “Mizzou: Our Time to Lead” Kickoff Gala

On Thursday, October 8, 2015, the Robert J. Trulaske Sr. College of Business hosted a black-tie gala for friends and educational partners. Jeffrey E. Smith, President of JES Holdings, was recognized as a top donor for his contributions to the University and the College of Business. Mr. Smith founded the Jeffrey E. Smith Institute of Real Estate through the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri in 2006. This gala was the official beginning of the largest fundraising campaign in the University’s history, with the goal of raising $1.3 billion by 2020 in order to add new centers and institutes, increase the school’s endowment and fund building projects according to The Columbia Daily Tribune.
