Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament
On Monday, July 13th JES Holdings employees participated in the MFA Oil sponsored inaugural Chip in Fore the Kids Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Missouri. This tournament benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia by auctioning celebrities that can be added to a four person golf team. JES Holdings was the prize sponsor and helped raise over $43,000.
Celebrities that attended included current University of Missouri Basketball Coach Kim Anderson, retired University of Missouri Basketball Coach Norm Stewart, former Missouri Tigers football wide receiver TJ Moe, former Missouri Tigers football quarterback Corby Jones and current Kansas City Chiefs Assistant Special Teams coach Brock Olivio.
The tournament was open to families, friends and supporters of the Boys and Girls Club. JES employees who participated were: JES Holdings Controller and Boys and Girls Club Board Member, Dana Patrick; Fairway Management Operations Director, Ryan Stevens; Transaction Analyst, EJ Sansone and Transaction Intern, Sam Steelman.
“It is great when you have a chance to support a cause that provides opportunities to help children that might not otherwise ever have them. The fact that I played golf on a Monday and spent time out of the office with EJ, Dana, and Ryan is not something you will ever hear me complain about,” said Steelman.
