2016 Annual Mayor’s Ball

For the second year, Affordable Equity Partners was one of the Kings Round Table sponsors for the Annual Mayor’s Ball held at the Rotunda of St. Louis City Hall. Hosted by Mayor Francis Slay and the Mardi Gras Foundation, this is one of many events that took place in and around the Soulard neighborhood to celebrate Mardi Gras. Considered one of the most anticipated social events of the season, the Mayor’s Ball benefits the Mardi Gras Foundation, which has made community grants to improve Soulard and downtown St. Louis since 2003. The ball was a black-tie gala that featured food, cocktails, dancing and entertainment including the Funky Butt Brass Band and the Dirty Muggs.

Stacie Hastie, a developer partner with RR Jennings Developer, LLC is CEO of the Mayor’s Ball and is actively involved in the Mardi Gras celebrations in St. Louis. Together, AEP and RR Jennings Developer, LLC developed the new property, The Residences at Jennings Place I in Jennings, Missouri with plans for phase II underway.  Along with Stacie, AEP employees that attended the ball included Ryan Stevens, Andrea Winter, Ellen Vossbrink, EJ Sansone and Erin Huber. Ellen Vossbrink, an AEP Financial Analyst stated “I loved watching the city come together to celebrate Mardi Gras. It was a unique experience and very memorable from the band to the decorations.”
